Last week there was a small get together for menswear accessory label, Icon Brand's launch of their new summer collection, Lost On Tour, at their newly refurbished head office. It was a cool, laid back night with some live music from Joel Chapman (from Amy Meredith), Andy Cleland (from Bones Bones Bones), Jack Dawson and some spins from Dane Rumble, while we browsed through the new range, grabbing a beer, a bite to eat from the bbq, some rice paper rolls and sushi.
In the new collection titled Lost On Tour, it's all about the "journey between the journeys." The range includes caps, wallets, rings, necklaces, bracelets and iPad sleeves in various fabrics. They also released "Lost + Found," a collective of lifestyle items for the apartment, with a "worn functionality" aesthetic, including playing cards and candles. For Icon Brand it's all about organic growth. Their campaign features the guys from Amy Meredith, which perfectly depicts the range. Check out Icon Brand's real affordable range online here.
On the night there were also some cool eyewear displayed from Sunday Somewhere, an eyewear label with classic and modern frames. One of my favourites is the Matahri frames! You gotta check it out on their site! Thanks to Dave for kindly giving me a new pair of sunnies!
I went along my friend Lauren and had a little snappy fun with the caps and Sunday Somewhere glasses! The photo of me hiding behind the playing cards, is courtesy of Life Without Andy! Also, for these images, in comparison to my usual vibrant photos, I decided to create some overlaid textures and make it feel kind of rustic, vintagy, old kinda looking. What do you think?
